1. Information We Collect

We collect information you provide directly to us, including:

• Your name, phone number, and email address when you contact us
• Enrollment details at the time of course registration
• Student Login account: name, email, mobile number, a password (stored only as a secure hash — never in plain text), your enrolled courses and video progress, and device session info used for single-device login security
• Franchise / Centre account: centre name, branch code, contact details, address, and only the last 4 digits of Aadhaar (the full Aadhaar number is never stored)
• Payments: when you buy a course, payment is handled by Razorpay. Card, UPI or bank details go directly to Razorpay — we never see or store them
• Student certificate records (name, father's name, course, duration, percentage, issue date and photo) for issuing and verifying certificates
• Messages and queries you send via WhatsApp or phone
• Free online tools (Resume Builder, PDF & image tools etc.): your files and data are processed in your own browser and are not uploaded to our servers

2. How We Use Your Information

Your information is used to:

• Provide student login, course videos, study materials and notes
• Process course payments and send receipts
• Keep accounts secure (single-device login and a temporary 10-minute lock after 7 repeated failed password attempts)
• Send course-related updates and notifications
• Issue and verify certificates
• Respond to your queries via WhatsApp or phone
• Improve our institute's services and offerings

3. Certificate Verification

Our verification page lets employers and others confirm a certificate's authenticity by entering its certificate number. For this purpose, limited certificate details are publicly shown on that page: student name, father's name, course, duration, percentage, issue date and photo.

No other information (address, mobile number, account details etc.) is shown there. To prevent misuse, the verification page has search limits and a captcha after repeated searches.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or share your personal information with any third parties. Your data remains strictly confidential within Shree Computer Education.

Only trusted service providers process data on our behalf as needed to run the website — Google (Firebase database & login, Analytics, AdSense) and Razorpay (course payments). Each may access only what is necessary for its service. Data may be shared with government authorities only when required by law.

5. Cookies, Analytics and Advertising

We use cookies and similar technologies. Some are needed for the site to work (for example login session and your tool/page preferences). Others help us understand traffic and show ads.

Google Analytics (GA4, measurement ID G-QEVWXMXNVC). Google places cookies to collect anonymous/aggregated usage data — pages visited, device type, approximate location, and how you reached the site. This is used to improve the website. See Google’s policy: policies.google.com/privacy.

Google AdSense (publisher ID ca-pub-5460611663379003). Google and its partners (including third-party vendors) use cookies — such as the DoubleClick cookie — to serve ads based on your prior visits to this website and other websites. You may opt out of personalised advertising by visiting adssettings.google.com, or opt out of third-party cookie use at aboutads.info/choices.

We do not sell your name, phone or student records to advertisers. Certificate data is used only for verification.

Some data is stored in your own browser's local storage — for example your login session, cookie-consent choice, and tool preferences (like a resume draft). This never leaves your device unless you submit it.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you block all cookies, some features (login, preferences) may not work. Continuing to use the site means you accept this cookie use as described here.

6. Data Security

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or misuse. Student data is stored on Firebase (Google) secure infrastructure.

Passwords are stored only as secure hashes (never in plain text). Accounts are limited to a single device session, and repeated failed password attempts trigger a temporary 10-minute account lock. Only the last 4 digits of Aadhaar are kept for franchise records. While we take all reasonable precautions, no online system can be guaranteed 100% secure.

7. Data Deletion & Your Rights

You can ask us to correct or delete your personal data or student account at any time — just call, WhatsApp or email us (details below). Account data (name, email, mobile, progress) will be removed on request.

Certificate records are kept in our secure database so that anyone can verify the certificate's authenticity later. If you want your certificate details removed from public verification, contact us and we will look into it.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be published on this page with a new "Last Updated" date. Continuing to use the website after changes means you accept the updated policy.
